Patricia Thornton

MA(Hons) (Edinburgh); DipSocAdmin (Liverpool)

 

 

Trish Thorton worked in SPRU for 18 years and developed an international reputation for her comparative research on policies and practices to promote employment opportunities for disabled people. She left SPRU in 2005 to work on a project for Voluntary Service Overseas in Papua New Guinea. She was piloting a survey in the Highlands region which was to become a foundation for a national survey.
