Our experienced modelling team have designed a systematic approach to critiquing existing economic models for purposes such as HTA submission. In such instances, we will provide constructive feedback on a model’s design, choice of inputs, appropriateness of approach and overall validity testing. The scoping of our model critique methodology ranges from simple overviews of models, to full recreation of models in other test internal and external validity. YHEC also runs a regular training course designed to encourage the appropriate validation and critiquing of economic models.
