Reviewing Services for the Public Sector
YHEC offers a range of reviewing services including scoping reviews and rapid evidence reviews, through to systematic reviews. We also undertake reviews to identify research gaps and to inform the conduct of larger projects or implementation decisions.
YHEC has expertise in undertaking reviews and economic evaluations of a range of healthcare interventions, including:

We have an experienced multidisciplinary team of consultants and associates to support our reviews including systematic reviewers, health economists, information specialists, qualitative researchers and statisticians. YHEC has established resources and procedures to streamline the production of reviews. YHEC has undertaken reviews for a wide range of clients including the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE), European Centre for Disease Control, the Treasury and NHS organisations.
As well as preparing reviews we can also provide review appraisals or critiques, and can assist with developing a review question.
YHEC staff are also active in the development of review methods and publish regularly in key journals in the field such as the International Journal of Technology Assessment in Healthcare and the Journal of Clinical Epidemiology.
